What We Do

We pride ourselves in being practical, reliable and efficient. We provide boots-on-the-ground support to other consultancies and a range of services to clients in a variety of industries, including:

SUPERVISION

With years of experience as Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW), we provide competent guidance, industry knowledge and same day reporting. Toolbox talks and method statements are also available.

SURVEY

We can run and support a variety of standard ecological surveys as well as sampling, reporting and GIS mapping.

MANAGEMENT

We're not afraid to get our hands dirty! We have the relevant qualifications to allow tree felling, climbing and strimming amongst other services.

We are Speedwell Ecology LTD: experienced ecologists who love nature and consider ourselves lucky to work both in it, and with it.

As consultants, we enjoy working with our clients pragmatically to ensure they can get their job done in a way that remains environmentally responsible, legally safe, on-schedule and in-budget.

Too often seen as a barrier or even a threat to projects, we believe that ecological consultants should find ways for businesses and nature to work efficiently together - maximising progress while minimising impact.

We pursue this goal through innovations such as immediate in-house vegetation removal after nest checks, thereby reducing risk of future ecological constraints, and saving people like you time and money.
